No travel company, tourist office or advertiser takes part in the writing or reviews the pages before publication. The site does not claim the experience of a resident: it does not tell personal stories and does not present itself as written from the island.

How the pages are written

  • Each page starts from public sources, preferably official ones, cited at the bottom of the page.
  • A verified fact, such as the price of the e-VoA or the amount of the tourist levy, is given with its source and the date it was recorded.
  • A driving time or an observed price is given as a range, and the page says so where the figure appears.
  • Each page shows “Updated on” followed by the date of its last substantive revision.
  • Whatever writing tools are used, each page is reviewed and its figures checked before publication.

What is never published

  • No invented reviews or testimonials, and no numerical scores given to a place.
  • No price without a source: an official amount cites its source, an observed price is presented as a range.
  • No fabricated personal experience: no travel memory presented as lived.
  • No paid reviews: no establishment, guide or agency is featured in exchange for payment or an invitation.
