Privacy and personal data
The site collects no personal data by itself: no cookies, no audience measurement tool, no advertising, no forms. Only the host, Cloudflare, processes the technical data needed to display the pages and protect the site.

What the site collects
- No cookies: the site’s code sets none, whether for measurement, advertising or preferences. That is why no consent banner is shown.
- No audience measurement tool for now: no Google Analytics or equivalent, no advertising pixel.
- A single third-party script: the price widget of the insurer SafetyWing, a partner of the site, loaded only in the health and safety guide, where the insurance box appears. Fonts are served by the site itself, there is no Google map, no embedded video and no social network button.
- No forms: no sign-up, no newsletter, no contact form. The tools and the planner calculate in your browser and send nothing.
If an audience measurement tool is added one day, this page will say so before it is put in place: its name, what it measures, where the data goes and how to opt out.
Storage in your browser
The packing list keeps your ticked boxes in your browser’s local storage, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and clearing the site’s data in your browser erases the list. The planner writes your choices into the page address, so that you can share it: this address contains no personal data.
What the host sees
Like any site, this one is served by a host, Cloudflare, which receives technical data on each visit: IP address, browser, page requested, date and time. This data is used to display the page, to protect the site against abuse and, through the service’s technical logs, to diagnose errors. The site does not use it for measurement or advertising.

The pages link to official websites, encyclopedias and operators. By following one of these links, you leave the site: the page visited applies its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies.
Your rights
The General Data Protection Regulation gives you a right of access, rectification, erasure and objection regarding data concerning you. As the site holds none, a request will in practice concern the host’s technical data. For any question, write to contact@baliwanderer.com.
